Dr Sibisi is a qualified fellow of the College of Dermatologists, registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa and obtained her Masters of Medicine Degree in Dermatology at the University of KwaZulu Natal.
During her residency, she worked at Inkosi Albert Luthuli Hospital and King Edward VIII Hospital.
She also attained a certificate in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine as well as a short course in Cosmetic Dermatology from Stellenbosch University.
She is associated with the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine as a sessional consultant and part-time lecturer and examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate students as part of her commitment to academic medicine.
She has received many accolades during her studying. She also received The Best Research Award from the University of KwaZulu Natal for her work on skin barrier properties in infants. Dr Sibisi was also previously awarded the International Society of Dermatology Education Award and presented her research internationally. She has also presented at National Congresses and previously won best registrar presentation nationally.
She is passionate about providing the highest level of care to patients of all ages and ethnicity. Her clinical interests are the management of eczema, acne, psoriasis, non-invasive skin rejuvenation and skin cancer screening and prevention.
